London, Ontario, Canada (March 11, 2003) Quantum5x Systems Inc., announced today that it has developed and successfully field-tested the QT-256, Mini Voice Transmitter, Presently the World's smallest broadcast quality voice transmitter.. Live demonstrations and testing of this new technology were televised by ESPN at the Great Outdoor Games, X Games., MLB Sunday night and All Star Games, NHL All Star games, WNBA, and NFL.

The project, named "the MicroPlayer Transmitter," enables broadcasters to attach a very small voice transmitter to athletes, which will be used by the networks to broadcast player’s, athlete's, or official’s audio at any event. Presently the World's smallest, this system measures 1.6 inches high, 1.38 inches wide, and 0.46 inches thick, weighing only one ounce, a very sophisticated combination of transmitter technology and an incredibly small lavaliere microphone only one tenth of an inch in diameter.
